OUR STORY

From a young age Catherine loved to bake with her mum and grandma to create delicious treats for the family. This then become her hobby and she decided that she wanted to do it as a job instead of going to university. Throughout her childhood, Catherine went on different cookery/baking courses to develop her skills. At high school Catherine did GCSE Catering and Business and knew from then that she wanted to own her own cake business, but it wasn't until the age of 17 when she really knew what she wanted to do. This is how Bakingat17 was created. To develop her baking skills even further, Catherine when to Reaseheath College to do a Level 3 Diploma in Professional Bakery and Patisserie. 

 

When Catherine bakes it's like she goes into a different world as it makes her so happy, and she loves to please people with her delicious bakes and treats. She likes creating the classic flavours but she also likes to experiment and create new and innovative flavours.
